Don’t work longer than you have to.
A lot of people have never sat down with someone to see if they can actually retire. I help families in Summerville and across the Charleston area figure out when they can retire, and how to turn what they’ve saved into income they can live on.

Life is too short to have retirement anxiety.
These are the four worries that come up most when people sit down in my office. If one of them is keeping you up at night, you’re not alone. Every one of them can be planned for.
Will I outlive my money?
We figure out what you need each month, then build an income plan from your savings, Social Security and any pension that’s designed to last as long as you do.
Can I keep living the way I do now?
We start with the life you want, whether that’s travel, time with the grandkids or giving back. Then we work backward to see what it takes.
What about healthcare?
Medicare, supplemental plans and long-term care usually cost more than people expect. We put real numbers on it early so it doesn’t surprise you later.
Am I paying too much in taxes?
Which accounts you pull from, and when, makes a big difference. Roth conversions and a smart withdrawal order can help you keep more of what you saved.

I want you to retire with confidence.
I grew up in Columbia knocking on doors and cutting grass to earn my own money. That same work ethic is how I run this practice. I explain things in plain English, I keep the meetings we schedule, and I call you back.
All of your money, in one plan.
Most people come in with a 401(k) here, an old IRA there and a life insurance policy they haven’t looked at in years. We pull it all together so you can see the whole picture.

Putting off the call? You’re not alone.
These are the three reasons I hear most for waiting, and my honest answer to each one.
Isn’t hiring an advisor expensive?
It can be an investment up front. But think about what a missed tax strategy or a badly timed withdrawal could cost you over 20 or 30 years of retirement. You’ll see exactly what you’d pay, and how we’re paid, before you decide anything.
I don’t like talking about money.
Most people don’t. Our first meeting is just a conversation. There are no wrong answers, and I’ll explain everything in plain English.
